Saint Francis Day: The Story of the Animals

Ria, a young girl, finds herself missing her friends and the warm Puerto Rican sun, as well as the animals she left behind, after moving to New York City. One day, Ria's neighbor, Mrs. Blum, surprises her with a trip to a grand cathedral where the festival of St. Francis Day is being celebrated. This annual tradition involves people bringing their pets to be blessed.

Initially, Ria is disappointed as she doesn't have a pet of her own to be blessed. However, a mishap with a mischievous duck named Groucho leads to Ria being invited to join the magnificent Procession of Animals, which marches into the church.
